For years, off-road enthusiasts and powersports professionals attending the SEMA Show have had to navigate a sprawling floor plan filled with everything from window film to car waxes. According to a report by UTV Action Magazine, SEMA 2026 is set to change that experience by launching a dedicated Powersports, SxS, and Lifestyle section.
Scheduled for November 3rd–6th, 2026, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, this new zone will be anchored in the West Hall. The organizers have designed the layout to facilitate long-term growth for the sector, utilizing a space that offers direct access to adjacent parking lots. This feature is intended to support dynamic outdoor activations and live vehicle demonstrations, moving away from static displays.
A Unified Approach to Adventure
The evolution of the show floor aims to group Trucks, Off-Road, and Powersports into a single "total package" destination. This reflects the reality of the modern enthusiast, who often looks for a holistic setup that includes the tow vehicle, the trailer, and the powersports machine itself. The expanded section will feature a wide range of categories, including:
- Motorcycles and dirt bikes
- Side-by-sides (SxS)
- Trailers and towing solutions
- Adventure lifestyle gear and accessories
Industry leaders are already signaling their support for the shift. TJ Jira, CEO of KYT Americas, noted that the dedicated section provides a significant opportunity to elevate the brand and increase visibility within the powersports market. SEMA Trade Show Director Andy Tompkins emphasized that the goal is to create an immersive, interactive environment that mirrors how enthusiasts live and work.
Market Synergy and Advocacy
The move is backed by strong internal data. SEMA Research indicates that 60% of specialty-equipment manufacturers already produce goods for at least one segment of the powersports industry, while 47% of retailers and installers serve these customers. Beyond the trade floor, SEMA continues to leverage its influence through the Off-Road Business Association (ORBA), which the organization acquired to bolster its advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C., and Sacramento, California. These efforts remain critical for protecting motorized recreation access and land-use rights.

For those interested in participating, booth reservations are currently open. Attendee and buyer registration is scheduled to begin on May 4, 2026. Interested parties can find more information through the official SEMA Show website.
