Polaris is making a significant push at the 2026 King of the Hammers, with multiple entries and storylines to follow. Fresh off Brock Heger’s UTV overall win in the Desert Challenge, the RZR Factory Racing team is preparing for the UTV Hammers Championship Rock Race with two specially prepared RZR XP S vehicles, according to UTV Action Magazine.
The UTV Hammers Championship Rock Race is scheduled for Thursday, February 5th.
The RZR XP S, launched in October, is a 72-inch wide machine designed for performance and durability. Polaris aims to demonstrate its capabilities in the challenging King of the Hammers environment. While the vehicles retain their stock base, they have been reinforced with competition-approved components to meet race regulations and withstand the rigors of the course. These upgrades focus on strength, protection, and reliability, while maintaining the integrity of the original platform, according to UTV Action Magazine.

Cayden MacCachren will pilot one of the RZR XP S entries in the Pro Stock NA class, seeking to secure a victory for Polaris in this category. The second RZR XP S will feature freestyle motocross legend Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg and off-road racer Brad DeBerti, who will share driving and co-driving responsibilities in the Sportsman class. Their dynamic is expected to provide entertaining moments during the race.
