Polaris Off Road has launched the RZR Pro R Ultra Edition for 2026, showcasing the industry's first factory-integrated electronically controlled hydraulic locking sway bar links. This advancement, delivered through the DYNAMIX DVS Suspension System, aims to provide a new level of adaptability and control. According to Polaris, the RZR Pro R Ultra Edition builds upon the existing RZR Pro R, incorporating race-proven engineering.
The DYNAMIX DVS suspension system was developed in collaboration with Suspension Direct Inc (SDi). Polaris states that this system allows each wheel to move independently for maximum articulation, absorbing harsh terrain while minimizing body movement. The system is designed to engage during cornering, providing handling. Polaris reports that this technology contributed to the team’s victories, including back-to-back Baja 1000 wins and the 2025 SCORE Series Championship.
Reid Wilson, President of Polaris Off-Road Vehicles, stated that DYNAMIX DVS sets a new benchmark for the off-road industry by applying learnings from their race program to deliver smarter suspension.
The DYNAMIX DVS system manages four links through three selectable settings:
- Semi-Active: Rapidly locks and unlocks (up to 200 times per second) for responsive handling.
- Locked: Provides the suspension feel of the standard RZR Pro R for maximum stability.
- Unlocked: Maximizes articulation for control during slow-speed rock crawling.
The system works with 12 suspension control channels and existing ride modes, continuously adjusting to maintain balance between performance, control, and comfort.
The RZR Pro R Ultra Edition includes an MPI™ Racing Steering Wheel, inspired by off-road and desert racing. It also features 32-inch BFGoodrich® KM3 tires and a Velocity Blue colorway with custom GatorStep® interior accents.
Additional features of the RZR Pro R Ultra Edition include:
- 74-inch stance and 104.5-inch wheelbase.
- 29-inches of usable travel.
- 10.4-inch Vertical Touchscreen Display Powered by RIDE COMMAND.
- Rockford Fosgate® Stage 4 Audio with 1500-watt digital amp.
- Heated and vented seats.
Production of the RZR Pro R Ultra Edition will be limited to 500 units globally, in both two-seat and four-seat configurations. According to Polaris, the two-seat RZR Pro R Ultra Edition starts at $46,999, while the four-seater starts at $50,999, with shipping to dealers beginning in February 2026. The RZR Pro R ULTRA will be displayed at the 2026 King Of The Hammers event in Johnson Valley, CA, January 30-February 7, according to utvguide.net.
