According to a report from UTVGuide.net, Method Race Wheels has expanded its catalog with the release of the 416 UTV series. This new lineup is engineered specifically to address the rigorous demands of modern, high-performance side-by-sides, whether the vehicle is navigating desert expanses or technical rock crawling.
The 416 series is available in two distinct configurations: the 416 UTV Bead Grip and the 416 UTV Beadlock. Both versions share a foundation of A356 aluminum that undergoes T6 heat treatment, ensuring the structural integrity necessary for extreme off-road abuse. The manufacturer has also incorporated a reinforced inner lip to further bolster the wheels against impact damage.
A standout feature of the 416 Bead Grip model is Method’s patented Bead Grip Technology. By utilizing integrated grooves on the inner and outer bead seats, the wheel is designed to engage the tire bead more effectively, which is particularly beneficial when running lower tire pressures to increase traction. The Beadlock version elevates this performance by adding a forged 6061-T6 aluminum V.8 beadlock ring, held in place by Grade 8 hardware, providing an extra layer of security for aggressive maneuvers.
Aesthetically, the 416 series introduces a new split-spoke design featuring debossed branding and a snap-in TOPO center cap. Available in Gloss Black or Machined finishes, the wheels are designed to offer a balance of aggressive styling and functional performance. With a class-leading load rating of 1,800 lbs, these wheels are built to handle the weight and torque of the most capable machines on the market today.
The wheels are currently available in 15x7 sizing with specific offsets tailored to popular platforms like Polaris, Can-Am, and the Kawasaki Teryx. Weights vary based on the configuration, with the Bead Grip version coming in at approximately 17.28 to 17.53 lbs, and the Beadlock version ranging from 18.32 to 19.18 lbs depending on the bolt pattern.
