According to UTV Action Magazine, the third round of the American Off-Road Racing Championship (AORC), the Silver State 300, concluded with a dramatic victory for Kyle Chaney. Racing for Can-Am, Chaney navigated the high-speed course over the span of five hours to secure the top spot on the podium.
The competition was exceptionally tight. Data from the event shows that only 53 seconds separated the top three finishers, highlighting the intensity of the race on the new course layout. Chaney credited his navigator, Saydiie Gray, for providing the precise notes necessary to maintain speed without sacrificing accuracy on a track where making up lost time proved difficult.
Reflecting on his performance, Chaney noted that the Can-Am Maverick R performed reliably throughout the duration of the race. By keeping a consistent pace and catching up to the lead vehicle, Chaney was able to secure the win. This victory marks a significant milestone for the driver, as it was his first time competing in the Silver State 300.
The race proved to be a strong showing for the manufacturer overall. In addition to Chaney's win, six Can-Am drivers secured positions within the top ten. The series standings remain competitive, with Phil Blurton currently leading the 2026 UTV Pro AORC leaderboard. The racing community is now looking ahead to the next major event, the Reno to Vegas race, scheduled for August 13-16.
Chaney expressed gratitude toward his sponsors and support crew, including Amsoil, Progressive, Maxxis, Raceline Wheels, and Factory UTV, for their role in his success. The team is now pivoting their focus toward preparation for the upcoming summer schedule, including the Legends Rally.
