Chaney, along with his navigator Jacob Argubright, skillfully navigated their Can-Am Maverick R to the stage win. Their success was attributed to maintaining a strong pace, precise navigation, effective tire management, and making quick, informed decisions during a challenging marathon stage, utvguide.net reports.

"The longer I’m here, the more it sets in how big and prestigious this race is,” Chaney said, according to utvguide.net. He acknowledged the importance of a strong performance after losing time in a previous stage. He expressed satisfaction with his vehicle's performance and overall experience.

Chaney's Can-Am Factory Racing teammates also achieved notable results. Jeremias Gonzalez Ferioli secured a stage win on stage seven. In that same stage, Kyle Chaney and Joao Monteiro completed a podium sweep for Can-Am Factory Racing, according to utvguide.net.

"It was a really good day for us, I’m happy to find out at the finish that we won the stage,” said Ferioli, as reported by utvguide.net. He noted the need to overtake cars due to earlier issues and emphasized the difficulty of every Dakar stage.

On stage nine, Francisco “Chaleco” Lopez, a three-time Dakar Rally champion, achieved a stage win. Hunter Miller and Kyle Chaney finished third and fourth, respectively, in that stage, utvguide.net reports.
