Polaris RZR Factory Racing driver Brock Heger continued his winning streak, securing his third consecutive King of the Hammers (KOH) Desert Challenge victory. According to a report by Cain at utvactionmag.com, Heger's win came at the 7th annual Desert Challenge in Johnson Valley, where he drove his Polaris RZR Pro R Factory to an overall UTV Open class victory during the Limited Race.
Heger carried momentum from a Dakar Rally victory into the King of the Hammers event. The race took place this past Saturday.

Chaden Minder, starting from 22nd position, delivered a strong performance to finish third overall. Sebastian Marquez also had a good showing, finishing fourth. Ethan Groom ran in the top three early in the race before falling back, ultimately finishing fifth. Cayden MacCachren initially crossed the line in third but was later adjusted to 11th place after missing a virtual checkpoint.
Heger stated that starting the season with a win at such a demanding race was rewarding. He added that the RZR Pro R Factory performed incredibly, providing the necessary power and suspension for the desert terrain, according to utvactionmag.com.
Alex Scheuerell, Polaris’ Director of Off-Road Motorsports, noted the challenging nature of King of the Hammers and praised Heger's performance. Heger and CJ Greaves are scheduled to compete in the Can-Am UTV Hammers Championship Race Rock on Thursday, February 5, driving modified Gen 1 RZR Pro R Factory machines specifically tuned for the rock-strewn terrain.
