American Honda has officially unveiled its 2026 Talon sport side-by-side lineup, continuing its commitment to high-performance off-road engineering. According to UTV Action Magazine, the 2026 range consists of six distinct configurations, split between two-seat and four-seat platforms, designed to cater to a wide spectrum of riders from casual trail enthusiasts to those seeking technical terrain capability.
The most notable change for the 2026 model year is the strategic update to tire sizing. Honda has equipped all 'R' trim levels—known for their wider stance and longer suspension travel—with 30-inch tires. This modification is intended to boost ground clearance and improve the vehicle's ability to roll over rugged obstacles. Conversely, the 'X' trim levels remain equipped with 28-inch tires, a choice Honda maintains to ensure precision and agility in tighter wooded environments.
Colin Miller, Manager of Experiential Marketing at American Honda, noted that the lineup is manufactured in the USA using a mix of domestic and global components. He emphasized that the purpose-matched tire sizes and trim options are designed to provide confidence across diverse terrains, whether navigating narrow woods or open desert expanses.
Talon 1000 Two-Seater Options
The two-seat variants focus on a compact, agile footprint. The lineup includes the base 1000X, the 1000X with FOX Live Valve suspension, and the wider 1000R FOX Live Valve. Pricing for these models starts at $20,599 for the standard 1000X and scales up to $23,799 for the 1000R FOX Live Valve. All models are available in either Pearl Red or Matte Forged Bronze.

Talon 1000 Four-Seater Options
For those requiring extra passenger capacity, the 1000X-4 and 1000R-4 models return for 2026. These vehicles maintain the same 999cc engine architecture found in the two-seaters but are stretched to accommodate four occupants. The 1000X-4 starts at $23,099, while the top-tier 1000R-4 FOX Live Valve is priced at $26,099. These units, like the two-seaters, are available now and share the same two-color palette.
