The off-road industry has been waiting for CFMOTO to enter the turbocharged UTV space for years, and the 2026 ZFORCE Z10 is finally here to answer that call. According to a recent test conducted by UTV Action Magazine, the Z10 is a serious contender in the 64-inch sport class.
At a retail price of $19,999, the Z10 is priced aggressively against the Can-Am Maverick X3 DS. While Polaris offers naturally aspirated RZRs at this price point, buyers looking for a factory-turbocharged machine from the RZR lineup would typically need to spend significantly more. The Z10’s heart is a 998cc triple-cylinder engine capable of producing 154 horsepower, a platform that feels remarkably similar to the architecture found in the Can-Am X3.
On the trail, the Z10 makes its presence known. The machine features three selectable power modes, with the Sport setting providing a distinct turbo-boosted punch, though testers noted a slight, characteristic turbo lag before the power delivery kicks in. The exhaust note remains surprisingly quiet, avoiding the drone found in some competitors, while the ITP TerraHook tires provide significantly more traction than the standard rubber found on many other factory sport machines.
Suspension performance is handled by Fox QSE shocks, offering 17 inches of travel in the front and 20 inches in the rear. One of the standout features is the ability to adjust compression settings on the fly via the steering wheel, allowing riders to adapt to varying terrain without stopping. While the swaybars are stiff, they contribute to the vehicle's excellent cornering ability and minimal body roll.
Inside, the cockpit is tech-heavy. The driver is greeted by a dedicated instrument cluster, accompanied by a 12.3-inch central infotainment screen that supports Apple CarPlay. While the vehicle includes thoughtful additions like a standard winch, front bumper, and automotive-style unitized wheel hubs, it notably lacks a roof. Safety is addressed with a robust 2-inch steel ROPS, though for now, the vehicle arrives with 3-point seatbelts rather than racing-style harnesses.
Based on the initial 40-mile test, the Z10 proves that CFMOTO is ready to compete with the established giants of the industry, offering a high-performance, feature-rich package that is sure to shake up the sport UTV market.
