RealTruck has officially entered the premium topper market with the Apex truck cap, a product designed to merge high-end aesthetics with practical, modern utility. According to RealTruck, this cap is engineered to eliminate the visual clutter typically associated with standard truck toppers, moving toward a seamless, handle-free look that prioritizes both security and aerodynamics.

One of the standout features of the Apex is the InvisiLatch technology. This system synchronizes the cap's hatch directly with the truck's tailgate. When the tailgate is opened, the hatch responds automatically, providing a white-glove experience that removes the need for manual latches or keys. This design choice also contributes to the cap's security, as there are no external entry points for would-be intruders to exploit.

Beyond security, the Apex focuses heavily on visual appeal and lighting. The unit features oversized tinted side glass windows, which the company describes as the largest in the industry, creating a continuous, aggressive silhouette. To assist with cargo management at night, the interior is equipped with ActiveTilt dome lighting and dual LED rope lights that activate the moment the cap is opened.

Weather protection is another core pillar of the Apex design. RealTruck has implemented a downward-angled profile that works to shed water off the back of the vehicle, channeling it away from the bed to prevent leakage. This is paired with a two-tone, color-matched paint finish and blackout trim, giving the cap a factory-integrated appearance rather than an aftermarket add-on.

Currently, the Apex is specifically engineered for the 2021–2026 Ford F-150 SuperCrew with a 5'7" bed. While the initial launch is focused on this popular platform, the company has indicated that additional vehicle support is in development.
